ClamCase ClamBook

Aside from smartphones and tablets, ultrabooks seem to be the rage nowadays. Now who wouldn’t find a notebook with a very thin profile quite appealing? As ultrabooks slowly builds up its market, there are now other interesting options also coming up. One of them is this unique ClamCase ClamBook.
The ClamCase ClamBook may look like any other ultrabooks now out in the market. But it follows a different design and function- it actually provides laptop features for your smartphone. You can say that it is more of a smartphone accessory that happens to look like an ultrabook. The ClamBook is designed with a WideScreen display and a physical keyboard similar to that of laptops and notebooks. But what is different about it is that it uses your smartphone as its CPU. The ClamBook comes with a special docking base attached to an MHL cable where users can place their smartphones into and that also doubles as a
smartphone charger. And when the docked smartphone is attached to the ClamBook, it acts as the second and larger display as well as offers the convenience of using a QWERTY keyboard and a trackpad for your smartphone.
One of the advantages of the ClamBook is that it uses the processing power of your smartphone to work, thereby preventing it from heating up when used. It works with both Android devices and the Apple iPhone. The ClamBook is expected to come out just in time for the holidays this year although no definite date has been provided as of now. The same goes for its pricing details.
